Scope
We built this plant for Elite Merchandising Company (EMC) in the Industrial Area of 6th of October City. It was a full EPC turnkey job, so we handled everything. The building is a 250-ton steel structure holding 4,500 mΒ² over two floors. We designed it around fabric-industry work, which meant setting the structural grids, floor loadings and services routing to suit the machinery the production lines run.
The work ran from 2018 to 2019. We started with the earthwork, put up the steel, did the finishes, installed the full MEP systems and finished the landscaping. Keeping design, procurement and construction under one team meant one point of accountability the whole way through. We handed it over on time, and it came in above the project's Quality and HSE standards.
Build a two-floor, 4,500 mΒ² production hall that could take the loads, vibration and services the fabric-industry machinery needs.
One team ran the whole EPC turnkey job: earthwork, a 250-ton steel structure, finishes, MEP systems and landscaping.
Handed over on schedule in 2019, above the Quality and HSE standards, and ready for production fit-out on day one.
