The people accountable for your delivery.
This is the team that signs off on your project. Between them they bring decades in oil and gas and engineers who came up through the site. Every one of them answers for the work.

Eng. Mohamed Ragab
Eng. Ragab has run Current's operations since 2020. He has more than 18 years behind him in oil and gas, manufacturing and civil infrastructure, and he has managed multi-site industrial programmes across Egypt and the GCC. That means the whole job, from early planning and procurement through QA/QC and HSE right up to handover.
He has worked on oil and gas facilities in Libya, Sonatrach/Medgaz pipeline-related plants in Algeria, manufacturing operations in Turkey, and mixed contracts in Egypt. Under him, Current built the EMC2, EMC5, EMC7 and EMC8 facilities, and since 2023 has delivered critical infrastructure packages in Riyadh with government authorities.

Eng. Mohamed Shelbaya
Eng. Shelbaya is good at the thing most people struggle with: getting the site and the technical office to work off the same page. He plans ahead, handles the contracts, and does the value engineering that turns hard drawings into something a crew can actually build.
He runs projects from start to finish. Design coordination, procurement, cost control, site supervision, QA/QC and HSE all sit with him, and he builds site teams that deliver on factories, warehouses, office buildings and infrastructure packages.

Dr. Ahmed Baibars
Dr. Baibars is General Manager of ALNOOR Engineering Design & Consultant. He has more than 35 years in architectural and structural design for concrete and steel work across Egypt, and he leads teams from design through tender documentation, feasibility and on-site supervision to international standards.
His work covers pharmaceutical plants, food and chemical manufacturing facilities, warehouse complexes, schools, mosques, water and oil tanks, and mixed-use towers across Egypt.

Eng. Arafat Matar
Eng. Matar holds a B.Sc. in Architectural Engineering from Cairo University and runs Current's Saudi operations. He looks after the harder industrial and administrative jobs, including the MC2, MC5, MC7 and MC8 facilities and several factory expansions.
Earlier in his career he worked on the New Capital Central Bus Terminal, the R1 District, and Resort 5 in Al Galala. He knows tender documentation, authority coordination, cost and schedule control, and quality assurance. He's IPMA-certified.
