Scope
Fanar is the structural and on-site construction for an industrial facility in Egypt: reinforced concrete, formwork and the full site works, all under one package that we did ourselves. The tolerances were tight and the site was live, so our crews took it from setting-out and formwork through the pours to the finished structure, with quality checks built into each stage.
We ran it with our own crews and our own plant instead of stacking up subcontractors. We phased the pours so the site stayed productive while industrial work carried on around us. A supervisor was on site full time to hold the dimensions and keep the programme on track through every cycle of formwork, steel fixing and casting.
Pour structural concrete and set formwork to tight tolerances on a working industrial site without stopping their operations.
Our own crews and company plant, phased pours, and a supervisor on site the whole time.
Structure built to spec and handed over on programme.
